Marie Didier is a scientist and entrepreneur working at the intersection of deep tech, cultural heritage, and international collaboration. She holds a PhD in Nonlinear Optics from EPFL, with training in physics, conservation science, and Science Diplomacy. She founded and served as CEO of MATIS, a Swiss deep-tech company developing multispectral imaging and AI-driven solutions for the analysis and authentication of high-value physical assets. Previously, she was a Kress-Mellon Fellow at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and a Postdoctoral Researcher for Industry at CSEM, specializing in advanced optical imaging and computational methods. Marie also brings experience in fundraising, business development, strategic partnerships, and international collaboration, and is an active public speaker bridging science, technology, and business to translate innovation into practical impact.
